Colibrí Circle

Who the Colibrí Circle Is For

The Circle is open to guests who have attended a retreat at The Refuge.

Many people return because they want:

  • A place to talk about their experience with others who understand it
  • Ongoing integration support as life continues to unfold
  • A reminder of the intentions they set during retreat
  • Connection with a community that values transformation and self reflection

Some people attend regularly. Others return when they feel the need for support or perspective. Both are welcome.

Why the Hummingbird

At Refuge the hummingbird, the colibrí, carries a special meaning.

In many indigenous traditions the hummingbird represents joy, resilience, and the ability to travel long distances while remaining connected to the places that nourish it.

We see something similar in the journeys our guests take.

People arrive for a retreat, open something meaningful inside themselves, and then return to their lives. But the work continues.

Like the hummingbird returning to the same flowers for nourishment, the Colibrí Circle is a place you can return to whenever you need reflection, connection, or support
